Area golfers invited to Summer Golf Challenge
The Recreation Centers of Sun City West invites all area golfers with a USGA handicap to participate in a new Summer Open Golf Challenge, taking place at all seven Recreation Centers courses.
This competitive stroke play tournament series is open to all men and women with USGA handicaps. The schedule includes seven events held at the seven golf courses throughout the summer. The schedule is: June 5, Pebblebrook; June 19, Echo Mesa; July 10, Trail Ridge; July 17, Desert Trails; July 31, Grandview; Aug. 14, Stardust; and Aug. 28, Deer Valley.
Players may participate in one or more events; there is no minimum or maximum. Along with their regular greens fees, there is a $15 entry fee per event. All entry fees will be paid out in prizes on the event day. Additional skills challenges will be available for those who wish to participate.

Since Del Webb founded Sun City West in 1978, our community has been a well-kept secret to many Arizonans who haven’t had the opportunity to enjoy the seven well-manicured golf courses and other top-notch recreation facilities that the community’s nearly 30,000 owner-members call home. As a private resort Association, most of these amenities are off-limits to the public.
